Your Time at Edinburgh
Why did you choose to study abroad in Edinburgh?
Because I wanted to explore the world and have something that brought out that I am different in terms of experience and understanding of the world. it wasn’t really a thought through choice to study abroad, it was more of a ‘that sounds really fun” and starting research, the real reasons are it’s cheaper, you are a 100 pound ticket from Europe and the rest of the world on the train, and there people who are different than you.
What do you enjoy the most about your degree programme?
The people, and the straightforwardness of the education.
What opportunities did you take advantage of at Edinburgh?
Lots of bookstores and libraries, and all of the amazing museums. there is tons to do here, and I am not even considering the clubs, you don’t need to be part of a society to feel like a part of the city.
What words of encouragement would you have for students from your home state or province thinking about applying to Edinburgh?
It’s a hard process, but the system here is made for people who know what they want, and are willing to work hard for it, its made me a better student and a better designer.
How would you describe Edinburgh in three words?
Hogwarts but not
What are you hoping to do after graduation?
Live in a forest making furniture. not exactly something to brag about, but I like it.
