Your Time at Edinburgh

Why did you choose to study abroad in Edinburgh?
Edinburgh is a world renown school, known to be an incredible city.

What do you enjoy the most about your degree programme?
Specifically, I enjoy the majority of the lecturing staff who not only write the textbooks and different resources within the courses that we take but also have a major influence on Scot law. It is absolutely incredible to sit in a class being lectured day to day by some of the greatest legal minds.

What opportunities did you take advantage of at Edinburgh?
Tried to get involved in student societies and travel.

Final Thoughts

What words of encouragement would you have for students from your home state or province thinking about applying to Edinburgh?
Edinburgh is a great school in an amazing country. This school is not easy by any means however, the immense growth that you will experience by attending this school is unmatched. These skills that you develop will allow for success in any career that you choose. With the challenges that come from studying at the University of Edinburgh, you will be surrounded by some wonderful classmates who you can really work with to progress through the program.

How would you describe Edinburgh in three words?
Challenging, Beautiful and Exhausting

What are you hoping to do after graduation?
Go back to Canada and work as a lawyer.
